N Type Connector
The N connector is a threaded, weatherproof, medium-sized RF connector designed for joining coaxial cables. It was one of the first connector types capable of handling microwave-frequency signals, with reliable performance up to 18 GHz. Male and female N connectors are typically constructed from brass or stainless steel for durability and corrosion resistance. They can be terminated to coaxial cables or circuit boards through crimping, clamping, or soldering, making them a preferred choice for outdoor antennas, telecom systems, and high-frequency RF applications.
