RG178

The RG178 is a 50-ohm coaxial cable designed for high-frequency signal transmission. With an ultra-thin 30 AWG center conductor, it offers exceptional flexibility but has higher signal attenuation—up to 42.7 dB at 900 MHz, nearly double that of RG174. Due to its small size and higher loss, RG178 is best suited for short-distance runs in applications such as RF testing, internal equipment wiring, and compact wireless device connections.
