RG59

The RG59 is a 75-ohm coaxial cable with a 20 AWG center conductor, serving as the counterpart to RG58. Once widely used for cable television and analog video transmission, it has largely been replaced by newer, lower-loss coaxial cables such as RG6. RG59 is still used in some CCTV, baseband video, and short-run signal applications where its flexibility and ease of installation are advantageous.
